Dallas
Willard is a Professor in the School of Philosophy at the
University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He has taught at
USC since 1965, where he was Director of the School of Philosophy
from 1982-1985. He has also taught at the University of Wisconsin
(Madison, 1960-1965), and has held visiting appointments at UCLA (1969)
and the University of Colorado (1984). He holds the Ph.D. from the
University of Wisconsin. His philosophical publications are mainly
in the areas of epistemology, the philosophy of mind and of logic,
and on the philosophy of Edmund Husserl. He also lectures and publishes
in religion: Renovation of the Heart was published in April
2002, The Divine Conspiracy was released in 1998 and selected
Christianity Today's "Book of the Year" for 1999, The
Spirit of the Disciplines appeared in 1988, and Hearing God
(1999) first appeared as In Search of Guidance in 1984 (2nd
edition 1993).

Peter
Kreeft taught at Villanova University from 1962-1965 and
has been at Boston College since 1965. He holds the Ph.D. from Fordham
University. He is the author of numerous books (about 43 with 12 more
in progress in 2002), including: C.S. Lewis for the Third Millennium,
Fundamentals of the Faith, The Best Things in Life,
Back to Virtue, and The Unaborted Socrates. |
Frederica
Mathewes-Green is a regular commentator on NPR's "All
Things Considered" and on Odyssey Television Network's "News
Odyssey." She is a columnist for Christianity Today, publishes
regularly in First Things, and serves as a contributing editor for
Books & Culture, Regeneration, Touchstone, Focus on the Family-Citizen,
Divine Ascent, Eutopia and other publications. She is the author of
several books, most recently The Illumined Heart: The Ancient
Christian Path of Transformation. She also serves on a number
of advisory boards for institutions such as Americans United for Life.
In addition to her books and other writings, Frederica speaks at colleges,
conventions, and churches across the country. She earned her M.A.
in theological studies from Virginia Episcopal Seminary and her B.A.
in English from the University of South Carolina. |
