Description: Seminar on Effective Oral Presentation
This seminar is designed to help students improve their oral communication skills, with special attention to presentations. We will look at some of the factors which make for a good presentation, including verbal articulation, presence, and body language. Public speaking is ranked as among the highest personal stressors due to individuals’ anxiety; we will explore ways to reduce this anxiety. Students will give both individual and group presentations and receive feedback from their peers as well as from the instructor.
