Description:This first session of a two part series will examine the basics of oil refining. This will cover a non-technical overview of the refining process, the process of blending products, the methods of refinery optimization, regulatory and financial restrictions and key skill sets for jobs in the refining sector. The goal is to present an overview of how refineries work and how they produce the products many of us take for granted.
