Description:The U.S. and the world remain concerned at the prospects of an Iran with nuclear weapons. But are these fears overblown? Should the U.S. prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon? Or can the U.S. coexist with a nuclear Iran through adoption of a containment strategy or bolstered regional partnerships? Speakers Dr. Francis Gavin, Director of the Robert S. Strauss Center, and Michael Singh, former National Security Council Senior Director for Near East Affairs, will debate what U.S. strategy should be towards Iran and whether the U.S. can live with a nuclear Iran.

The Alexander Hamilton Society is an independent, non-partisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting constructive debate on basic principles and contemporary issues in foreign, economic, and national security policy. Visit our website at www.hamsoc.org.

This event is co-sponsored by the Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law. See http://strausscenter.org for more information.
