Description:CONCEPT
A new series of casual, candid conversations between current LBJ students and featured alumni now working in or around the Texas Capitol on social, health, economic, education, or related budgetary policy issues during the 83rd Legislature. Discussion focuses on the alums' policy work and how it fits into the larger political process and evolving public debate at that point in time, as well as how alums' LBJ School educations did (or didn't!) prepare them for the work they do now.

AUDIENCE
Current LBJ students interested Texas social/health/economic policy, the state legislative process, and/or alumni career pathways. Interested faculty, staff, and alumni are welcome to attend as well.

LOGISTICS
- True brown-bag format (Please feel free to bring a lunch, if desired)
- Speakers, dates, and times may change at the last-minute due to the volatility of alumni schedules during the legislative session
