Welcome to Career Resources
The mission of the LBJ School Career Resources is to provide resources, advice, job search training, and access to career opportunities that will help LBJ School students and alumni achieve their professional goals.
Career Connections is an online resource for students and alumni of the LBJ School of Public Affairs to search job opportunities and participate in on-campus recruiting events. Employers may also use Career Connections to post jobs, schedule information sessions, and recruit for jobs and internships at their organization. Log into Career Connections using the links on the left.
Job Search Guidance and Advising
Career Resources maintains a wealth of resources to help students prepare for and obtain internships and jobs consistent with their career goals. Additionally, Career Resources staff is available by appointment to review resumes and cover letters, and provide guidance to assist students in securing jobs and internships. Resume templates can be accessed at https://www.utexas.edu/lbj/careers/process/resumes, and resume/cover letter appointments may be scheduled by emailing Lana.
Workshops on resume writing, interviewing, Presidential Management Fellowships, career fair preparation, and the federal application process are conducted multiple times throughout the year. These workshops are listed on the Career Resources Calendar.
