The mission of the LBJ School Career Resources is to provide resources, advice, job search training, and access to career opportunities that will help LBJ School students and alumni achieve their professional goals.

Career Connections
Career Connections is an online resource for students, alumni, and guests of the LBJ School of Public Affairs to search job opportunities and participate in on-campus recruiting events. Employers may also use Career Connections to post jobs, schedule information sessions, and recruit for jobs and internships at their organization. Job Search Guidance and Advising
Career Resources maintains a wealth of resources to help students prepare for and obtain internships and jobs consistent with their career goals. Additionally, Career Resources staff is available by appointment to review resumes and cover letters, and provide guidance to assist students in securing jobs and internships. Resume templates can be accessed at https://www.utexas.edu/lbj/careers/process/resumes, and resume/cover letter appointments may be scheduled by emailing Lana at lanamorris@austin.utexas.edu.
Workshops
Workshops on resume writing, interviewing, Presidential Management Fellowships, career fair preparation, and the federal application process are conducted multiple times throughout the year.
Information Sessions and Recruiting Events
The LBJ School Career Resources Office is committed to developing and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships with employers from diverse sectors and providing them with access to LBJ School students and alumni. Services to employers include coordinating information sessions, collecting resumes, scheduling interviews, access to Career Connections and receiving invitations to career fairs.
