As policies become more complex and their deliberations more fractured, the need for sound research and analysis becomes all the more critical. Despite this need, the struggle to ensure that policymakers have timely access to relevant research findings, to sound analytic studies, and to the expertise behind these works continues.
Professor Angela Evans, who served for over 15 years as the deputy director of the Congressional Research Service, will discuss how to successfully engage in policy deliberations. She will draw on her experience in leading the research and analytic efforts of the premier public policy agency serving the US Congress.
Light lunch will be provided. Please RVSP to firstname.lastname@example.org, or 512-232-3423.
