This event was part of a larger, weeklong tribute to honor the life and work of Barbara Jordan, which included a week of student-led events. The panel Women in Politics: Equality of Voice was sponsored by Citizens for Local and State Service (CLASS) and featured: Texas State Representative Dawnna Dukes ; Dr. Marsha Farney, Member of the State Board of Education; and Austin City Council Member Sheryl Cole. Moderated by Professor Sherri Greenberg, Interim Director of the Center for Politics and Governance at the LBJ School and former Texas State Representative.
