Dr. Richard Murray is the Director for the Survey Research Institute at the University of Houston. He teaches courses pertaining to American government, political parties and interest groups, and electoral politics in the Political Science Department at the University of Houston. In 1990, he published an article in "Growth and Governance in Houston" entitled "Dynamics of Candidate Choice in State Election."
