The 2010 Census: Austin's Changing Demographics and Growing Equity Gaps

Ryan Robinson, the City of Austin Demographer, will present his analysis of the latest U.S. Census data for Austin and what it means for historically disadvantaged groups in the region. The session will explore current and future trends caused by Austin's rapidly changing demographics and population growth patterns, including how the poor continue to fall behind.

This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Politics and Governance at the LBJ School, as well as the UT Opportunity Forum, the William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law and the Center for Sustainable Development at the UT School of Architecture.
