The Board of the Washington Area LBJ School Alumni Chapter invite you to its

2011 Holiday Season Celebration & Fundraiser
benefiting the Ricardo Gomez Memorial Fellowship and the LBJ School of Public Affairs General Fund

December 8, 2011 from 6:30 – 9:00 PM
Association of Public and Land Grant Universities
1307 New York Avenue, NW
Minimum Donation, $40 Per Person
Please RSVP here by December 5

Established by the Class of 1992 in memory of their classmate, who passed away of cancer in 2005, the Ricardo Gomez Memorial Fellowship will support LBJ students. Please join us in helping the Fellowship reach endowed status ($50,000) by year’s end. Invitees are also welcome to designate that their contribution go to the LBJ School’s General Fund.

The WALSAC Board has worked very hard to make this event a zero-cost event; meaning 100% of your admission donation will go toward endowing the Gomez Fellowship or to support programming at the LBJ School. The suggested donation, to be collected at the door, is $40. We invite each and every one of you will give at whatever level you feel is appropriate. The DC-based community of LBJ alumni is diverse, proud, and engaged, and we want to encourage each and every one of you to help us give back to the school and a deserving student in Austin.

From all of us on the WALSAC Board, we look forward to celebrating the holiday season with you, your family and friends!
