Kenneth H. Ashworth, who earned a Master's in Public Administration from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in history and philosophy of education from UT Austin, has been involved in higher education issues in Texas and the U.S. for many years. Ashworth is a former Commissioner of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and served as the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of the University of Texas system. He has published a number of articles and three books on higher education issues and has received numerous awards for excellence in education for his contributions to the field of education.
