Internships are an integral part of the LBJ School curriculum and an important aspect of the career exploration and preparation process. Internships, which are typically completed during the summer between the first and second years of study, can be part-time or full-time, but must total 400 hours. Students are encouraged to develop their resumes and begin researching internships in the fall of their first year. Resources for exploring internship opportunities are offered through the Office of Student and Alumni Program’s Career Resources Coordinator.
