What the Future Holds for the US, Israel and Iran

The Jewish Community Relations Council of Austin will host a three-part series focusing on "what the Future Holds for the US and Iran" during the month of October.

The programs are free and open to the entire Austin community. The series will offer oppotunities to learn more about the challenges Iran presents to stability in the Middle East and around the world. The discussions will provide information about Iran's neighbors and their strategic importance to the US and Israel, the Green Movement, Iran's leaders and more.

The first program is Tuesday, Oct. 12. The other two programs take place Tuesday, Oct. 19 and Tuesday, Oct. 26. They start at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Jewish Community Center on the Dell Jewish Community Campus located at 7300 Hart Lane in Northwest Austin.

Dr. Alan J. Kuperman, associate professor of the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT, and Abe Selig, the incoming JCRC director, stopped by Good Day to talk about these issues.
