Centex ASPA Hosts Annual Public Service Recognition Awards Banquet
The Central Texas chapter of the American Society for Public Administration (CenTex ASPA) will hold its Annual Public Service Recognition Awards Banquet on Thursday, May 9 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Texas Land & Cattle Steak House. LBJ School Professor Kenneth Apfel, former U.S. Commissioner of Social Security, will be the keynote speaker.
The annual awards ceremony is designed to recognize the contributions of public servants and help the public understand and appreciate the work they do. Awards will be presented to an outstanding public administrator, elected official, public administration researcher, and teacher.
