Aspen Ideas Festival, Aspen Colorado June 30 - July 6, 2008


The 2008 Aspen Ideas Festival was held from June 30th to July 6, 2008 in Aspen Colorado and LBJ School Dean James B. Steinberg was there contributing his vision for a 21st century American foreign policy. Others in attendance included journalists David Brooks and Ron Brownstein, Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff, former President Bill Clinton, former Congressman Mickey Edwards, Susan Eisenhower, former White House Chief of Staff John Podesta, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, Senator Ken Salazar and more.

For more than 50 years, the Aspen Institute has been one of the nation's premier gathering places for leaders from around the globe and across many disciplines to engage in deep and inquisitive discussion of the issues challenge our times.
