Ilse Oehler Grediaga
Ilse Oehler-Grediaga was born in Mexico City. In 2003 she obtained a BA in International Relations from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and in 2005 she was awarded a Masters degree in Public Policy from University College London (UCL).
From 2007 to 2008 Ilse was part of the Young Professionals Program at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris in the Regional Competitiveness and Governance Division.
She has also held several positions in the Government of Mexico at the federal level. From February 2009 to January 2011, she worked as Director of Foreign Media Analysis at the Office of the President of Mexico. From February 2011 to May 2012 she was Head of Communications Office at ProMéxico, a government agency responsible for the promotion of exports and attraction of foreign investments. She has also worked as a Deputy Director of Tenure, Incentives and Promotion in the Electoral Civil Service, as well as Deputy Director of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Social Development.
Her research interests include topics related to Public Management, Performance Management Systems, Policy and Program Evaluation, Poverty, Inequality.
