James Hasik studies military-industrial policy and strategy. Since September 2001, he has been researching and writing about global security challenges, and has been serving as a consultant to the defense industry. He is a member of the Council on Emerging National Security Affairs (CENSA), the Institute of Navigation (ION), the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), and the National Defense Industries Association (NDIA). He holds an MBA in business economics from the University of Chicago and a BA in history and physics from Duke University.
