The Legislative Communication Conference has been sponsored jointly by the LBJ School of Public Affairs and Strategic Partnerships, Inc. since 1998. It is designed to bring together government executives, board appointees, senior staff and elected officials to discuss the upcoming session of the Texas Legislature.
This conference is extremely popular and we always have a sold-out crowd. When capacity is reached, there is nothing that can be done so don't be left out. Some of the highlights are:
· Hear from the offices of the Governor, Lt. Governor, Speaker of the House and other statewide elected officials about issues they plan to champion during the session;
· Hear first hand discussions about budget issues, employee benefits, and how to work successfully with elected leaders of the Texas House of Representatives and the Senate;
· Listen to predictions for the 2013 session; and
· Enjoy networking with government executives from throughout the state.
Your registration fee includes a full day of discussion about the 2013 session, a Continental Breakfast, a Networking Luncheon and valuable materials to support you throughout the upcoming legislative year.
