Specification Writing

The quality of the specifications directly impacts the quality of goods received and the liabilities and costs incurred by the buying organization. Various types of specifications and their uses will be examined and explained.


Bid Analysis

Bid analysis is the critical step in competitive bidding that compares competitive offerings from various suppliers. Done properly, bid analysis enables the buying organization to contract with the supplier that offers the best value.


Purchase Orders, Contracts

A key step in purchasing is selecting the type of document to use to provide evidence than an agreement exists. This seminar focuses on distinguishing one type of documentation from another and emphasizes building the skills and knowledge necessary to select the most appropriate document in any buying situation.
