Buying services is an ever-increasing responsibility of purchasing with some significant differences compared to buying goods or supplies. Time spent in identifying opportunities, planning the service purchase, crafting the Statement of Work (SOW) and developing the Request for Proposals (RFP) pays dividends. You receive more responsive, complete offers to the RFP and have the information necessary to select the best value. This forms the foundation for successful service contracts.
