Programs for Public Office Holders
A variety of professional development programs have
been established to serve the development needs of elected and appointed
officials in government. These programs, some of which have been sponsored
by the School and its predecessor for over 30 years, include conferences
for state legislators as well as programs for city and county officials.
Periodic programs include:

The Legislative Communication conference, sponsored jointly by the LBJ School of Public Affairs and Strategic Partnerships, Inc. is a biennial event. The Pre-Session Legislative Conference is designed to help agency heads, board members, and other senior state officials prepare for the upcoming session of the Texas Legislature.
