The 18th annual Training Expo is just a few weeks away.   The Governor’s Center for Management Development is pleased to host the Expo in collaboration with the SACC Training and Development Committee.

Over 340 people registered for last year’s event, representing over 50 agencies and universities.   Expo provides a forum for sharing ideas, resources and learning that can help training and development professionals better serve their organizations.  You'll also find networking opportunities where you can meet colleagues and other professionals to discuss training and development issues and challenges.

We’re excited to have Daniel Friedland delivering our Opening Keynote, Know How Your Brain Works to Make Better Decisions.  Dr. Friedland is board certified in Internal Medicine and the author of Evidence-Based Medicine: A Framework for Clinical Practice.  He is President-Elect of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine as well as the President and CEO of SuperSmartHealth, which provides Corporate Wellness Programs, Executive Leadership Workshops and Coaching.

Vickie Maris will be delivering our Closing Keynote,  Lessons Learned From Livestock.  Vickie Maris is the Director of Professional Development Programs for Engineering Professional Education at Purdue University.

This year's breakout sessions include:  Aligning Your Career, 50 Tips in 50 Minutes, Training Director Panel, Video Learning, Public Facing Training and more.
