Visit The LBJ School
There is no better way to determine if The LBJ School is the right fit for you than visiting campus. A campus visit allows you to learn more about the degree programs, discuss your academic and career interests, and experience the campus community in a way that can not be replicated online or in a brochure. The LBJ School has opportunities for interested students to visit campus during organized group events or by individual appointment.
Information Sessions for Prospective Students
The LBJ School hosts two half-day information sessions in the fall for prospective student. The information session events provide the best opportunity for you to learn more about the LBJ School and our campus community, The University of Texas, and the city of Austin. The dates for our Fall 2014 information session events are October 20 and November 17. To sign up for one of these events, please visit the Prospective Student Information Session Page.
Small Group information sessions
Students unable to attend a formal information session are encouraged to attend one of our small-group information sessions, held weekly, usually on Friday mornings at 10:30. To schedule to attend one of these meetings, please email the LBJ Admissions Office.
If you cannot attend on a Friday, please contact us and we will do our best to schedule an individual time to meet with you. We encourage students to plan their visits during times of the year when classes are in session and students are on campus. Interaction with current students and faculty can provide a wealth of information for prospective students entering the graduate school selection process. Please keep in mind that, due to staffing constraints, we cannot provide as comprehensive an experience for individual visitors.
