Staff members honored at annual reception

Five LBJ School staff members will be honored during the 35th Annual Staff Recognition Program and President's Reception on May 10. The event, scheduled from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Lyndon B. Johnson Auditorium, recognizes classified and administrative or professional employees who have worked for the university for periods ranging from 10 to 40 years.

This year, LBJ School honorees are Barry Bales, Assistant Dean for Professional Development, 15 years; Doug Marshall, Computer Publishing Specialist in the Office of Publications, 15 years; Darrell Piersol, Director of the Governor's Executive Development Program, 10 years; Caren Troutman, Computation Center Director, 10 years; and Sherry Williams, Director of Student and Alumni Programs, 15 years. Bales, Piersol, Troutman, and Williams have been at the LBJ School throughout their UT tenure.
