The Ray Marshall Center has been working with the University of Texas Health Science Center to provide an assessment of existing programs and conduct surveys in regards to the Early Chidhood Education (ECE) workforce. The first Capacity Survey is to examine the capacity of Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) in preparing the ECE workforce. The purpose of the second, Early Care and Education Professional Preparation Survey, is to assess the level of preparedness of new professionals, practicing for 1-3 years.
