International Programs

Several universities in Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. have partnered to promote the study of civil society with a consortium that creates long-term cooperative relationships and supports the development of leaders in civil society organizations throughout North America.

Current Programs

Developing Civil Society Education via Case Studies: A North American Perspective (DCSCS)
DCSCS is a student exchange program between universities in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

Civil Society Summer Institute
Students study the nonprofit sector in the U.S. and Mexico.

Curtis W. Meadows, Jr. Social Enterprise Program (Formerly Ford Fellows)
Interdisciplinary teams of students from McComb's Business School, the LBJ School of Public Affairs and the Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies receive stipends to consult for NGO leaders in Latin America during August 2009.

Past Programs

The RGK Center hosted Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Dr. Alejandro Natal of Mexico for the fall semester of 2008.

Bilateral Civil Society Education Partnership
USAID-funded exchange program with Mexico.
