RGK Center Foundation Internship Program

The RGK Center has relationships with several Austin and Texas Foundations to coordinate placement of qualified students considering a career in philanthropy and interested in the work of philanthropic institutions. LBJ School students enrolled in the Nonprofit Portfolio Program are eligible for consideration and, if selected, receive $5,000 stipends for completing a ten-week internship.

Summer 2009 recipients are: Elsa Falkenberger who will be working at the KDK-Harman Foundation on developing logic models and implementing evaluation tools with select grantees and Mary Rolle who will be working at the St. David's Community Health Foundation on research to improve grantmaking processes, evaluate impact and identify best practices in key program areas.
