The Nonprofit and Philanthropic Studies Specialization prepares graduates of the LBJ School for leadership positions in nonprofit and non-governmental organizations.

This program is only available to LBJ School students. It is intended to complement the Masters of Public Affairs degree program and can be completed within the regular degree program requirements of the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Application Process

The Program Coordinator accepts applications on a rolling basis and is available to answer any questions about the Specialization and the admission process. Students are encouraged to apply early in their graduate programs.

To apply:

  1. Print and complete the Specialization Declaration
  2. Place a hard copy in the Advising Forms box next to the OSAP door.
  3. Email a copy to the Program Coordinator
