Topics for these policy seminars have included environmental and natural resources policy, health-service delivery policy, social welfare policy, transportation policy, science and technology policy, international affairs, national security, urban and regional growth policy, and political campaigns.
Section Description
This course is nonpartisan review of the history of congressional and state legislative redistricting in Texas and the state and federal legal principles applicable for redistricting Texas in 2011. The course is recommended for those students intending to work for a congressional or state legislative office anytime during 2010-2012. Students will have the opportunity to write a paper, or to take an examination for their grade.
