Learning Through Service: Students Travel to Haiti As Non-Profit Consultants

Students learn through service by being consultants in Haiti

An interdisciplinary team of student consultants traveled to northwestern Haiti in January 2012 as part of the RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service Curtis W. Meadows, Jr. Social Enterprise Fellows program.

The LBJ School of Public Affairs and the McCombs School of Business students were there to conduct a rural needs assessment in partnership with a faith-based nonprofit that has been investing in Haiti for more than a decade.
