Instructions: Once each academic year, each student at the LBJ School of Public Affairs is required to review the University and LBJ School policy on academic integrity and professionalism. This may be accomplished by completing each of the following:

1. Complete all modules of the UT Graduate School Ethics Training.

2. Review LBJ School presentation on integrity and professional conduct

3a. Review the Dean of Student's material on academic integrity.
or
3b.
Read the "Guide to Avoiding Plagiarism" published by the LBJ School Writing Center.

4. Review the Student's Guide to Sex Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct and the Nondiscrimination Policy published by the Dean of Student's Office.

E-Mail your acknowledgement of completing all the above training to your respective Graduate Program Coordinator. Include the following information in your e-mail acknowledgement:

SUBJECT: Ethics Training Completed (AYXX-XX)

In the body of the e-mail
  • Full Name
  • UTEID
  • Degree Program(s)
  • Date training was completed
Your acknowledgement e-mail constitutes your electronic signature that you have, in fact, completed all the required training, and it will be recorded accordingly. You may attach a signed pdf copy of the acknowledgement form below, but that is not a requirement.

This training must be completed, and your electronic acknowledgement received, in the current academic year, in order to register for classes for the next semester.
