More than 1,000 students answered this question by submitting their insightful ideas and offering solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems in the 2008 Social Innovation Competition.
This year, the Social Innovation Competition was open to all university students in the United States. Thirty-six teams were invited to write a venture plan. Our Judge's Circle evaluated the plans and selected three finalist teams to come to Austin and compete for the grand prize of $50,000.
