Funding Your Education
Graduate students at The University of Texas at Austin generally support themselves in one of the following ways: departmental aid in the form of fellowships, fellowships administered by the Office of Graduate Studies, need-based financial aid administered by the Office of Student Financial Services (OSFS), and outside funding or employment.
All LBJ School applicants are automatically reviewed on a competitive basis for merit-based admission fellowships and non-resident tuition waivers during the admissions review process. No additional application is required for the admission fellowship. Those receiving these fellowships and/or tuition waivers will be notified of their award in their official LBJ School admissions letter.
Additionally, students will be placed in high quality apprenticeships during the summer and fall semesters in Washington, and the LBJ School will make it a priority for these to be paid work experiences.
Additional resources for funding your education, including financial aid, may be found at http://www.utexas.edu/ogs/funding/.
