Description: Mr. Geschke co-founded Adobe Systems in 1982, and is currently co-chair of the Board, having retired from his position as president of Adobe in 2000. Prior to co-founding Adobe, he formed the Imaging Sciences Laboratory at the Xerox Palo Alto Research center, where he directed research activities in the fields of computer science, graphics, image processing and optics. Mr. Geschke was recently elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and serves on a number of advisory boards, including Carnegie-Mellon University, Tableau Software and the San Francisco Symphony.

This presentation is part of the Strauss Center’s Technology, Innovation and Global Security Speaker Series, which brings world-renowned experts to campus to discuss how to sustain innovation and better utilize modern technology to benefit an increasingly global economic and social system.
