Description: David Gartner is the Policy Director for the Global AIDS Alliance (GAA), an advocacy organization dedicated to achieving a comprehensive response
to the AIDS pandemic and to expanding educational opportunity in affected countries. Mr. Gartner previously worked as a Counsel on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. He has appeared as a commentator on CBS, CNN and NPR and written for a wide variety of publications, including the New York Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Miami Herald. Mr. Gartner is a graduate of Yale Law School and did graduate work in political science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and he was a visiting lecturer at Yale University.
