Welcome to the Writing Center

The Writing Center offers graduate students enrolled at the LBJ School of Public Affairs individualized assistance at any stage of the writing process, as well as a series of ongoing seminars in Communicating Policy and in Professional Report Design. Communicating Policy focuses on different genres of public affairs writing, whereas Professional Report Design assists second-year students with all aspects of the Professional Report and thesis writing process. In addition to offering seminars, the writing instructor assists students with résumés and cover letters.

The Writing Center encourages critical reflection and prepares writers to make effective decisions about their writing.

Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 2:00-5:00 p.m.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: By Appointment Only
