Welcome to the OSAP Writing Center

The OSAP writing center offers LBJ School of Public Affairs graduate students individualized writing consultations on all stages of the writing process and two seminars titled Communicating Policy and Professional Report Design. Communicating Policy focuses on different genres of public affairs writing, whereas Professional Report Design assists second-year students with all aspects of the professional report and thesis writing process. In addition to offering writing seminars, the writing instructor assists students with résumé and cover letter writing.

Mission

The writing center's goal is to engage the LBJ student community in consciously critical discussion about policy writing conventions and encourages students to make informed decisions about their texts in multiple contexts in and ouside of academia.
