Location

The Swim Center is located on The University of Texas Campus, one block west of I-35 on the northwest corner of the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Red River Street. See Google map.

Parking

Wednesday through Saturday all coaches, athletes, and spectators must park in the parking garage. There is no parking in the lots around the Swim Center.

Parking information is also available for those with a disability.

The University has established a parking program in the Brazos Garage (BRG) at the corner of Martin Luther King (MLK) and Brazos Street. Please note: Due to the High School Girl’s State Basketball Championships March 2-4, the Trinity Garage (TRG ), the one generally used for events at the Texas Swimming Center, will charge $8 each time you park with no in/out privileges. Therefore, we have made arrangements for an event swipe card at the Brazos Garage (BRG). The swipe card will allow you to enter and exit the garage as often as you wish Wednesday, March 1st through Sunday, March 6th. Athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators may purchase the card from the cashier in the Brazos garage. The card is accepted in the Brazos garage only.

As you drive into the garage, pull a ticket. The cashier’s window in the garage is open 24 hours and accepts cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. You may purchase your card immediately or, at your leisure, you may walk over to the garage during the meet to purchase the card. Doing this will alleviate long lines and traffic congestion at the end of the session.
Once you have purchased your swipe card, you will not have to go to the cashier's window and get a validation; you may go straight to your car and use the swipe card to exit the garage. The swipe cards must always be used in the red machines. The yellow machines will not return the swipe card to you.
Upon entering the garage, use the swipe card in the red machine to gain access to the garage. If you use the swipe card, do not pull a ticket. If you use your swipe card to enter the garage, you must use your swipe card to exit, even if the garage gates happen to be open. If you do not swipe, the card will not work when you try to enter the next time. The machine will think you are still in the garage.

$25 Wednesday through Sunday
$20 Thursday through Sunday
$15 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
$10 Saturday and Sunday

Remember this allows you to come and go as many times as you wish and will cover early morning swims, prelims and finals. If you decide you do not want to purchase the event swipe card, parking will cost $8 with no in/out privileges.

Parking is available in C Lot 80, directly in front of the Swim Center, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after 5:45 PM. On Saturday, there may be a charge to get into C Lot 80. Due to the High School Girl’s Basketball tournament Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and Explore UT on Saturday, the traffic and parking on campus will be severely limited.
