Financial Support

Students admitted into the Neuroscience Graduate Program are guaranteed stipend support at the level of $24,000/year for five years, including student health insurance and tuition assistance.

Students are required to submit a predoctoral fellowship application in their first, second and/or third year of study and to participate in a least one semester of teaching assistantship during their program. Support at the level of $24,000/year is guaranteed regardless of the students TA status or whether the student has been awarded a predoctoral fellowship. However, the yearly stipend may be increased, funds for travel to scientific meetings may be granted and funds for additional tuition assistance and/or additional health insurance may be provided with the award of certain fellowships or teaching assistantships.
