UT Austin prepares to celebrate “Take Our Children to Work Day”

This year's "Take Our Children to Work Day" activities at UT Austin on April 24 will allow children of staff and faculty to tour experimental laboratories, see demonstrations of a flight simulator and observe the wonders of archeology, robotics, music and other interesting fields of study.

UT Austin engineering student chapter selected best nationally by National Society of Black Engineers

UT hosts symposium on 50th anniversary of military integration

Research on global warming to be discussed during physics department colloquium Wednesday (April 1) on UT Austin campus

UT Austin to honor four with Pro Bene Meritis award

The International Symposium on the Spanish Language will bring distinguished scholars and business leaders from a dozen Latin American and Caribbean countries, Spain and the United States to The University of Texas at Austin campus in April to discuss the present and future state of the Spanish language throughout the world.The April 1-4 symposium at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs and Flawn Academic Center will feature three days of programs open to the public as well as some private academic meetings. The event is co-chaired by Professors Joseph Matluck and Carlos Sole' of the department of Spanish and Portuguese at UT Austin.
