The University of Texas Child Care Center, located south of the Darrel K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in the School of Social Work Building, is expanding its regular day-care program to include childcare during UT home football games.

The search for an architect to design the new Jack S. Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin has narrowed to two candidates. UT Austin President Larry R. Faulkner and UT System Board of Regents member Rita Clements announced Monday (Aug. 21) that the names of two firms have been forwarded to members of the Regents' Facilities Planning and Construction Committee for their consideration.

Students from the Northeast Texas area who will be incoming freshmen at The University of Texas at Austin next fall will be personally welcomed at a "Send-Off 2000" celebration in Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday (Aug. 22) by a University delegation led by Dr. Larry R. Faulkner, president of UT Austin.
