UT Austin student one of 70 nationwide to receive prestigious Harry S. Truman Scholarship

AUSTIN, Texas—When Richa Gulati was a senior at J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas, she had her heart set on attending Yale University. When she got a letter saying her application was denied, she was disappointed, but not devastated.
