Federal $4.5 million grant provides The University of Texas at Austin with imaging machine to study drug and alcohol abuse

The University of Texas at Austin has received $4.5 million from the federal Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP)--to obtain and operate one of the most sophisticated functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging machines (fMRI) in the country to explore how the brain is affected by drug and alcohol abuse.

Lockheed Martin partners with IC2 Institute at The University of Texas at Austin as part of $6 billion offset agreement in Poland

The IC2 Institute at The University of Texas at Austin will share its expertise in promoting entrepreneurial activity and commercializing technology with the University of Lodz in Poland as part of an offset package associated with the $3.5 billion purchase of jet fighters by Poland from Lockheed Martin. The program will be offered in cooperation with the Polish-American Management Center at the University of Lodz.
