The University of Texas at Austin has received $4.5 million from the federal Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP)--to obtain and operate one of the most sophisticated functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging machines (fMRI) in the country to explore how the brain is affected by drug and alcohol abuse.

The program will be offered in cooperation with the Polish-American Management Center at the University of Lodz.
