AUSTIN, Texas—The Tower of The University of Texas at Austin will be illuminated bright orange tonight Wednesday (Aug. 25) and Thursday evening (Aug. 26) so it can be filmed as a focal point of the campus in a production to be used in promoting the university. The strategic planning and positioning firm GSD&M and the university’s Office of Public Affairs are coordinating the production.

The Tower will be orange tonight from 8:45 p.m. until midnight for filming from a downtown building.

On Thursday, it will be orange from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for filming with a camera mounted on the nose of a helicopter. The helicopter also will be used in filming on campus from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., and later from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday (Aug. 27).
