AUSTIN, Texas—The University of Texas Police Department (UTPD) has located Parking and Transportation employee Kristin Peterson. University police received a tip late this morning from a concerned citizen who saw local media coverage and reported that Peterson was at a 7-Eleven near the intersection of Highway 290 and Manchaca Road. Peterson was found unharmed but appeared to be disoriented.

Interim Chief of Police Terry McMahan will be available for interviews concerning this incident at 2 p.m. today at the university police station, on the corner of Red River and Clyde Littlefield. UTPD extends its appreciation to local Austin media and the public for their assistance in locating Peterson.
