Dr. Sylvia Linan-Thompson, an assistant professor of special education in the College of Education at The University of Texas at Austin, has been appointed director of the Vaughn Gross Center for Reading and Language Arts. Linan-Thompson replaces Dr. Sharon Vaughn, who was director of the center for eight years.
