Faculty experts from the Center for Women's and Gender Studies at The University of Texas at Austin are available to discuss their research on sexual assault, domestic violence, women's sexual health issues and the role gender plays in society.

| April 3 | Honors Day to Cite Academic Achievement at The University of Texas at Austin The 60th Annual Honors Day celebration at The University of Texas at Austin on April 12 will honor the academic accomplishments of 6,410 students during two ceremonies in Gregory Gymnasium. Of the 2008 honorees, 4,997 students will be given the honorary title of College Scholar and 1,413 will be recognized as Distinguished College Scholars. |

Knight Foundation, is the recipient of the 2008 DeWitt Carter Reddick Award—one of The University of Texas at Austin College of Communication's highest awards recognizing outstanding people in the field of communication.
