"Prospect" Art Exhibition Opening Reception At the Creative Research Laboratory, Nov. 22

Event: The University of Texas at Austin Creative Research Laboratory (CRL) presents "Prospect," a juried group exhibition spotlighting spatially inspired art by students, faculty and alumni from The University of Texas at Austin.

The exhibition focuses on rethinking notions of home, geography and the basic principles of perspective. The opening reception is free and open to the public.

When: Opening reception Saturday, Nov. 22, 6-9 p.m.

Exhibition opens Nov. 22 and ends Dec. 13.

Gallery hours: Tuesday-Saturday, noon-5 p.m.

Where: 2832 East Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Creative Research Laboratory (inside Flatbed World Headquarters). A map to the gallery is online.

Background: The Creative Research Laboratory (CRL) presents a year-round schedule of exhibitions featuring work by students, faculty and alumni of The University of Texas at Austin.

This collaborative exhibition features work by: Daniel Aranda, Erik Culver, Sam Dahl, Lauren Moya Ford, Santiago Forero, Bethany Johnson, Megan Liu Kinche, Douglas Marshall, Ryan Molloy, Nina Rizzo, Mark Schatz, Jen Frost Smith, Marya Spont, Megan Stroech, Beatrice Thomas, David Waddell, Wendel A. White, Leigh Brodie, Lucas Wilcox, Crafthole, Ayham Tavsier Ghraowi and Javier Viramontes.
