AUSTIN, Texas — The Perry-Castañeda Library (PCL) at The University of Texas at Austin has extended its hours for an additional period in advance of spring semester final exams.

Beginning at 7 a.m. on May 1 and extending through the last day of final exams on May 19, the PCL will be open for 24 hours. During this period, only visitors with valid university identification will be admitted to the PCL between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.

In past years the library was open 24 hours beginning on the last Friday of classes. The additional week of extended hours is in response to requests by students of the university.
